About
Enter bootleg worlds inspired by iconic cartoons, comics, and video games. Beat the shit out of everyone!
Planned release: July 2026
Platforms: Real NES cartridge + digital releases planned across modern consoles and PC
Cease & Desist is an NES-inspired indie video game created by deconstructive pop artist Matt Gondek and Retrotainment Games
Built with classic hardware limitations in mind — limited color palettes, simple mechanics, and strong visual identity — the game blends retro gameplay with a contemporary art sensibility.
Development is funded through preorders rather than a traditional publisher, allowing the project to remain fully independent.
Release is planned for Summer 2026, with a playable demo available now.
